James has been nominated for the 2008 CAMS Motor Sport Personality of
the Year Award.

James is the only V8 Supercar driver among the 17 nominations from
various motorsport categories.

Voting closes at 5pm AEDST on Friday, November 28.

The winner will be announced at the 2008 Australian Motor Sport Awards
at the Sofitel in Melbourne on Friday, December 12.

"This is a thrill and an honour to be nominated," said James. "There is
a lot more to being a professional race car driver than simply driving
the car, and this type of award recognises the efforts we make to
interact with the fans and the public and to project a positive image
for the sport."
